LABBS Convention 24-27 October 2024

Welcome to Bournemouth!

Convention is an annual opportunity for all members, family, and friends to get together.  It is essentially a chance for quartets and choruses to compete in a supportive and friendly way and is often a riot of colour and complex choreography.

In addition to competition, Convention also includes a schedule of education sessions led by our own education team, often supported by external educators and our VIP guests.  All of this is topped off with a fabulous show, showcasing our new champions and amazing guests.

As if that wasn’t enough, each evening sees an opportunity to Afterglow – a traditional end to any barbershopping day when singers and guests meet to chat and sing until the early hours – with old friends and new.

 The event is open to all, with the opportunity to drop in for a day or be immersed in both competition and education sessions for a full fun-packed 3 day weekend.
