LABBS Convention 24-27 October 2024

Welcome to Bournemouth!

Convention is an annual opportunity for all members, family, and friends to get together.  It is essentially a chance for quartets and choruses to compete in a supportive and friendly way and is often a riot of colour and complex choreography. In addition to competition, Convention also includes a schedule of education sessions – LABBS FRINGE – led by our own education team, often supported by external educators and our VIP guests.  All of this is topped off with two fabulous shows, showcasing our new champions and amazing guests.

As if that wasn’t enough, each evening sees an opportunity to Afterglow – a traditional end to any barbershopping day when singers and guests meet to chat and sing until the early hours – with old friends and new.

The event is open to all, with the opportunity to drop in for a day or be emersed in both competition and education sessions for a full fun-packed 3 day weekend.
